Meet The Team
Dr. Mohamed Elsayad
MBBCh, MSc (Diagnostic Imaging), MSc (Medical ultrasound), FRCR, ESSR MSK Diploma
With a career spanning more than two decades, Dr Elsayad has dedicated himself to nurturing the next generation of doctors. He is a highly sought-after speaker and educator, leading prominent radiology courses and serving as a key trainer for candidates preparing for the FRCR 2B exam. Driven by a deep commitment to supporting overseas doctors, he provides mentorship and guidance to help them navigate the NHS, overcome challenges, and achieve success in their careers.
Dr Elsayad has held multiple leadership positions within the NHS, including Clinical Lead, Clinical Director, and Divisional Director.
Currently, Dr Elsayad is at the forefront of advanced pelvic imaging, managing complex cases in colorectal, gynaecological, and multiparametric prostate MRI. As the lead radiologist for the BHRUT Endometriosis Tertiary Referral Centre, he is pioneering efforts to raise awareness about endometriosis at the primary care level and directly with patients. Recognising the current lack of understanding surrounding this debilitating condition, Dr Elsayad is committed to bridging this gap by educating healthcare professionals and empowering patients with knowledge, ultimately improving diagnosis and care pathways.
Additionally, he has introduced innovative practices, such as the use of microbubble contrast ultrasound for enhanced liver imaging.
Dr. Ahmed Mobarak
MBBCh, MSc (Diagnostic Radiology), FRCR,
Dr. Ahmed Mobarak is a Consultant Radiologist with extensive experience in diagnostic and interventional radiology. He is currently working at Queen’s Hospital (Barking, Havering, and Redbridge University Hospitals) in Greater London, UK. With a strong academic and clinical background.His expertise spans MRI and CT reporting, neuroimaging, oncologic imaging, and interventional procedures such as ultrasound guided biopsies. He contributes significantly to spine and skull base radiology MDM.
Dr. Mobarak is also dedicated to medical education, regularly teaching junior radiologists and radiographers. He has published case reports on Radiopaedia, presented research at international conferences, and contributed to various radiology audits and quality improvement initiatives. Additionally, he has participated in international FRCR preparation courses as an examiner.
With a solid foundation in diagnostic radiology, research, and teaching, Dr. Ahmed Mobarak continues to make a significant impact in the field of radiology.
Dr. Ahmed Elhagar
MBBCh, MSc (Oncological Imaging), FRCR, MSc (Radio-diagnosis), European Diploma in Radiology
Dr. Ahmed Elhagar is a Consultant Paediatric Radiologist at Nottingham University Hospitals, United Kingdom.
He is a highly qualified radiologist with a specialised focus on paediatric imaging, bringing extensive expertise to the field.
Dr. Elhagar has a long history of teaching radiologists, particularly in preparation for the FRCR examinations. He is committed to providing expert radiological care for paediatric patients.
His comprehensive training, international experience, and dedication to education equip him to deliver accurate diagnoses and contribute to optimal patient outcomes.
Dr. Ahmad Khalifa
MBBCh, MSc (Diagnostic Radiology), FRCR, MD, PhD.
Dr. Ahmad Khalifa is a Consultant Radiologist at Queen’s University Hospital, London, United Kingdom.
He is a highly experienced general radiologist with a special interest in Musculoskeletal and Oncology Radiology, bringing over 12 years of expertise in the field. Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Khalifa serves as an Associate Professor of Radiology, actively contributing to research through scientific papers and conference presentations.
He is deeply involved in medical education, teaching undergraduate medical students as well as radiology trainees and junior doctors.
His extensive experience in teaching FRCR exam preparation has helped numerous candidates successfully pass the 2B exam on their first attempt. In addition to his clinical and academic roles,
Dr. Khalifa has a strong leadership background in radiology management. He has led Musculoskeletal and Oncology Radiology Units across various departments, demonstrating expertise in both clinical service development and healthcare management.
